Developed and maintained RESTful APIs using Java 8 and Spring Boot for core enterprise business workflows and integrations. Designed and implemented backend components using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture, with primary responsibility focused on backend development. Developed secure REST endpoints using Spring Security, implementing authentication and role-based access control for sensitive HRMS and payroll-related functionality. Optimized database operations using Hibernate, JPA, and Spring Data JPA, improving query efficiency and reducing unnecessary database processing. Worked on API and database performance optimization, including reducing response times for performance-sensitive operations to the millisecond level. Designed and maintained API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI, enabling easier integration and testing by development teams. Performed REST API testing and validation using Postman, and developed unit tests using JUnit and Mockito for critical application components. Developed frontend workflows using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSP, while primarily contributing to backend development.
