Contributed to the development of PSB Xchange, a multi-bank Supply Chain Finance platform enabling digital financing through API-based integrations with fintech platforms, lending institutions, and third-party services. Developed Spring Boot microservices, including a secure Document Storage Service and a configuration-driven API Gateway featuring MySQL-managed routing and API-key authentication. Contributed to the development of Program Lead and Channel Partner journeys, enabling seamless integrations between fintech and lender systems through REST APIs. Independently developed the Bill/Purchase Invoice Discounting module, including backend APIs, fintech/lender SCF integrations, callback handling, and listing functionality. Reduced API response time by approximately 97% (1.2 minutes → under 2 seconds) by redesigning MongoDB aggregation pipelines, optimizing indexes, and leveraging database views for complex business queries. Implemented secure inter-service communication using Spring Security, secured sensitive application properties with Jasypt, and automated recurring business processes using Spring Scheduler and cron jobs. Investigated and resolved UAT and production issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), collaborating with Product Managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend solutions.
