Own functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing every sprint for a Fintech mobile app on Android and iOS, writing test cases straight from user stories and catching issues before they reach users. Drive integration and acceptance testing for new features from first build to release, contributing to several production releases across 10+ sprint cycles with no major post-release rollback. Validate REST APIs directly in Postman, checking request and response payloads, status codes, and edge cases so issues get caught before they reach the front end. Document defects in JIRA with clean, reproducible steps, screenshots, and logs, and work one-on-one with developers to get them closed rather than just handed off. Set up and maintain test environments, pulling console logs and network traces from browser DevTools to cut down debugging time for the dev team. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release sign-off as a full member of the Agile/Scrum team, and run sanity checks after every deployment to catch anything that slipped through.
