Maintained and enhanced a MERN stack Self Service Portal (SSP) used by 100+ internal users across multiple teams and regions — consolidated testing requests, error logging, and build submissions into a single interface, replacing fragmented manual processes. Built role-based UI in React — dynamically rendered navigation, forms, and action buttons based on JWT-decoded user role (requestor, admin, approver); unauthorized sections hidden at component level preventing access without relying solely on backend guards. Developed multi-step request submission forms in React with controlled components and client-side validation — covered testing platform engagement, mainframe build requests, and error logging flows with region/environment selection dropdowns (DTESA, DTEST1, and others). Implemented real-time request status tracking UI — users could view live status updates (pending, in-review, approved, rejected) of submitted requests without page refresh; integrated Axios interceptors for centralized auth token attachment and error handling across all API calls. Built a summary dashboard displaying request counts by status and type — gave admins and approvers a quick overview of pending actions across teams and regions. Configured React Router for multi-page navigation — separate routes for dashboard, request submission, request history, and admin panel; protected routes redirect unauthenticated users to login. Added role-based access control to the SSP using JWT middleware — differentiated permissions across requestor, admin, and approver roles to control which request types and regions each user could access or modify. Extended the request workflow module to support testing platform engagement across multiple environments (DTESA, DTEST1, and other regions) — users could select target region, submit engagement requests, and track status through the portal. Developed the mainframe app build request module within SSP — structured form-based submission flow with backend validation, MongoDB persistence, and status tracking for build pipeline requests raised by development teams. Performed System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple enterprise environments ensuring reliable data flow validation between core banking and downstream systems. Executed and monitored 100+ batch workflows weekly using Control-M and Rundeck, maintaining 98% job stability and system reliability across production environments. Analyzed and debugged data pipeline failures across mainframe, UNIX, and database systems — developed strong root cause analysis and systematic debugging skills directly applicable to backend systems. Validated large datasets using SQL queries in Teradata and data reconciliation techniques to ensure accuracy of cross-system data transfers. Coordinated file transfers between core banking systems and downstream applications; collaborated across Unix, database, and network teams to resolve integration failures — built cross-functional communication skills.
