Worked on an enterprise Java EE document management system for an automotive OEM client, developing backend features using JAX-RS, CDI Events, JPA/Hibernate, and Db2 in an Agile Scrum environment. Designed and delivered the backend REST API layer for a vehicle list batch reprint feature, enabling operators to trigger bulk reprints across all print perspectives – Single Form, Form Group, and Baskets – from Vehicle Stock inputs within a queue-based print processing system. Built a vehicle identifier parser supporting file upload and Vehicle Stock list formats with record limit enforcement, character-level ASCII validation, and identifier normalisation using Java Stream API. Designed a form group locking mechanism via DAO layer to prevent concurrent print collisions; applied transactional boundary management ensuring printer resource release on both success and failure paths. Implemented a CDI event-driven print job lifecycle: persisted jobs with WAITING status, fired reprint trigger events to GUI listeners, and automated print job cleanup on completion. Wrote JUnit tests for all delivered APIs; managed work using Jira for backlog tracking and Git for version control.
