Deepfake Detection Using EfficientNetB0

Fine-tuned EfficientNetB0 (transfer learning) on 1,000 real/fake images with data augmentation (flip, zoom, rotation), achieving 74% test accuracy, 76% Precision, 71% Recall on the fake class - vs. 50% random baseline. Evaluated model rigorously via precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix; augmentation improved generalization by 8% over the non-augmented baseline, reducing overfitting on the limited training set. Deployed the trained classifier as a Streamlit web app for real-time single-image deepfake inference - making the model accessible to non-technical users without any ML environment setup.
