Built an end-to-end document intelligence pipeline (OCR → LLM-based classification → RAG) that automatically extracts, classifies, and answers questions from unstructured mortgage documents. Deployed a live Gradio web app that correctly split a 7-page mixed-content PDF into 6 logical documents across 4 types with zero manual sorting. Answered natural-language financial queries with precise, source-cited results, e.g., correctly identified the total lender fee as $1,070.00 and monthly payment as $1,869.37. Diagnosed and resolved an OCR engine failure (PaddleOCR → EasyOCR pivot), extracting 165+ structured text segments from real scanned mortgage documents.
