Designed and developed interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualise key business KPIs and performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making for stakeholders. Performed advanced data modelling using star schema architecture, optimising relationships and dataset structures to improve report performance and scalability. Implemented Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure, role-based access to sensitive organisational data across multiple business units. Built multi-step Power Automate workflows to orchestrate business process automation, including triggering alerts on KPI threshold breaches, routing approval requests, and synchronising data between SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI environments. Engineered reusable Power Query (M) data transformation pipelines covering data ingestion, column profiling, conditional logic, pivoting/unpivoting, and error handling, standardising data preparation across multiple reports and reducing load times. Designed and maintained Power Query data models by merging and appending queries from heterogeneous sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs), applying incremental refresh strategies and query folding optimisations to improve dataset performance at scale. Collaborated with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable BI solutions. Applied UX design principles in dashboard development to improve usability, navigation, and visual clarity during the prototyping and development phases. Conducted System Integration Testing (SIT) and prepared detailed test cases to validate report functionality, data accuracy, and performance before production deployment. Created and maintained technical documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Technical Design Documents (TDD), and workflow documentation for BI solutions. Leveraged SharePoint and cloud-based services (Azure/AWS) for data access, report collaboration, and secure integration with BI solutions. Performed data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports delivered to business stakeholders. Managed Power BI report and dataset version control using Git, enabling collaborative development, change tracking, and controlled deployment across environments.
