Engineered a scalable authentication microservice by leveraging AWS Lambda for serverless backend logic and AWS Cognito for secure identity federation, integrating both Google OAuth and traditional email/password workflows. The system utilized AWS SES for automated security notifications and was fully containerized using Docker for deployment on AWS ECS-Fargate via Amazon ECR. Architected a robust, event-driven asynchronous file processing pipeline using S3 event triggers and SQS to manage multipart and binary uploads (PDF, DOC, TXT). This system implemented strict validation logic for file size and format, integrated Amazon DynamoDB for metadata persistence, and utilized a Main Queue/Dead Letter Queue (DLQ) architecture to ensure fault-tolerant threat detection and processing. Validated end-to-end API functionality with Postman and ensured high availability through proactive Amazon CloudWatch monitoring and log analysis.
