Analysed client PRDs and translated business requirements into technical implementation flows and Change Requests (CRs). Designed and implemented Spring Boot REST API modules covering business logic, input validation, service layers and data persistence using Spring Data JPA / Hibernate. Implemented file-upload security controls — hash integrity checks, file-size restrictions and MIME-type/format validation — for secure document handling. Directed design of a hybrid AES + RSA encryption scheme for secure multi-folder file uploads, extending document security beyond hash and MIME validation. Guided adoption of perceptual hashing (pHash) to detect duplicate images and preserve data integrity across result-processing workflows. Oversaw design of barcode generation and tracking for examination documents to strengthen end-to-end document traceability. Secured REST APIs using Spring Security with JWT-based authentication and role-based access control. Analysed SAST/DAST findings, traced vulnerabilities to root cause and implemented remediation before production releases. Optimized system performance through browser-side caching and Java-based cache cleanup strategies, reducing redundant database calls by approximately 20%. Worked with Apache Derby in local/development environments and MySQL in production; wrote and optimized SQL queries for issue diagnosis and data validation. Performed production support and Root Cause Analysis (RCA); identified data-persistence, schema and logic issues, and deployed fixes with minimal downtime. Managed release activities using SVN, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Apache Tomcat deployment. Developed unit and integration tests for critical business logic; performed API testing and documentation using Postman. Mentored and technically guided junior developers — including code reviews of security implementations and microservices designs — and supported debugging of complex production issues. Participated in Scrum ceremonies and communicated technical constraints, risks and delivery status with product and business stakeholders.
