Worked on an ELT-driven data remediation program for Royal Bank of Scotland (NatWest Group), consolidating customer and product data from EDW, AIT, RESPOND, Teradata tables, Oracle tables, Equifax and Arkline Tracing into Snowflake. Validated end-to-end ELT flows from heterogeneous sources into the Snowflake raw schema, followed by cleansed, staging and intermediate layers, ensuring all mappings, keys and business attributes were correctly loaded. Tested data quality rules executed via AWS DQ on cleansed, staging and intermediate tables to identify and remediate data issues (duplicates, invalid values, missing attributes, broken referential integrity) before data was promoted. Verified MI and workflow schemas that store “golden” customer and account data used for downstream MI reporting, risk/compliance dashboards and front-end applications such as Cares and redress calculation engines. Designed and executed test scenarios for fee/interest remediation, complaint redress and customer outcome calculations, ensuring golden data in MI/workflow schemas produced accurate results for banking and insurance products. Used advanced SQL across Teradata, Oracle and Snowflake to reconcile key measures (balances, fees, interest, premiums, claim amounts) between source systems, intermediate layers and golden data, highlighting any remediation gaps. Participated in SIT and migration cycles, validating historical back-loads and incremental loads, capturing defects related to ELT logic, data quality rules and schema design, and supporting timely fixes with data engineers and business SMEs.
