Angular Modernization: Personally migrated the production HRMS web application from Angular 7 to Angular 17 over ~6 months, handling framework/RxJS/TypeScript updates, dependency compatibility, build issues and third-party integration problems. Also worked through the Ionic 4→6 migration. Kiosk Application — Full-Stack Ownership: Built and owned a production Kiosk attendance application used by ~50–60 organizations, covering Angular/Ionic frontend, Node.js/Express backend, MongoDB changes, REST APIs, attendance workflows, device integration and testing. Implemented offline-first attendance using Capacitor SQLite to cache employee face-landmark data, monitor connectivity, queue punches and synchronize queued operations when connectivity returns. Integrated TensorFlow.js/MediaPipe-based face/landmark and hand-pose capabilities for face matching and liveness-related checks; optimized camera image resolution to balance processing time and matching behavior. Enterprise HRMS — Production Scale: Developed and enhanced an HRMS platform used by 300+ organizations, supporting organizations of approximately 20–3,000 employees across attendance, leave, shift roster, journey tracking, geo-fencing, payroll, reporting, field operations and CRM workflows. Integrated Google Maps for web and Capacitor Google Maps for mobile to visualize employee journeys, segmenting routes by login-to-logout attendance sessions so multiple journeys within the same day can be viewed separately. Developed dynamic CRM forms and workflows with configurable fields, record CRUD, filtering and assignment/status/approval flows; also developed role-based dashboards with drag-and-drop widgets and organization-specific layouts. Backend & API Development: Built Node.js/Express REST APIs using routes, controllers, services, middleware and models, with JWT authentication, authorization, validation, error handling and MongoDB operations. Implemented Angular HttpClient/interceptors, token handling, route guards, typed API responses, file upload/download and environment configuration; also worked with Reactive and Template-driven Forms. Performance, Production & Delivery: Improved Angular performance using pagination, lazy loading, in-memory caching, reduced API calls and RxJS debouncing; investigated production API response/data-type issues and DataTables refresh problems during migration. Worked independently in a two-person development team: requirement analysis → feasibility/scalability brainstorming → web/mobile flow discussion → implementation → testing → PR → review → merge → release; handled production fixes and enhancements from CX-team requirements.
