Architected session-based project switching across India and Indonesia production deployments using a custom Django middleware (ProjectSessionMiddleware), isolating each user’s data from a single shared codebase. Built and deployed 6+ Django Admin modules (Household Listing, Participant, Encounter/Intervention, Household Report, Datasource Auth, Whitelist IP) over legacy MariaDB tables via unmanaged models, admin registration, custom views, and URL routing. Developed real-time cascading filter interfaces in JavaScript and jQuery AJAX (Country → State → District → Village → Household), fixing stale-state and empty-parent cascade bugs, and refactored four location admins into one reusable mixin with a unified AJAX endpoint. Designed responsive, permission-aware UI components — a multi-column mega-dropdown navbar, project switcher, styled changelist tables, and a custom 403 page — using Django templates, custom template tags, and CSS. Secured project-scoped reports with Fernet-encrypted masked URLs, backend decryption, and an access-restricted fallback page; applied safe decrypt-or-fallback handling for encrypted PII (names, KTP, contact, income). Built 3-sheet Excel export pipelines (openpyxl) with dynamic, data-driven columns; fixed a critical Django Admin pagination bug by overriding changelist_view to preserve GET filters, and replaced dict lookups with ForeignKey SQL JOINs for query efficiency. Recovered production data and stabilized releases — repaired broken migration chains, restored dropped columns via ALTER TABLE, and resolved duplicate-village-ID filter mismatches — within a task-ID Git branch workflow on Azure DevOps with peer-reviewed pull requests.
