I am an Economics Post graduate from the University of Calcutta with a strong foundation in data analytics, econometrics, and business intelligence. I enjoy transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support business strategy and evidence-based decision-making. My technical expertise includes SQL, Python, Power BI, Advanced Excel, STATA, and MySQL. I have hands-on experience in data cleaning, exploratory data analysis (EDA), statistical analysis, dashboard development, data visualization, and time-series analysis. As part of my master's dissertation, I analyzed more than three decades of operational and trade data across India's major ports to evaluate efficiency and competitiveness. I developed a Composite Port Performance Index using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and applied Panel Data Models, ARDL, VAR, and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to identify key performance drivers. I also completed an independent macroeconomic analytics project that assessed India's external-sector vulnerability by building a Composite External Vulnerability Index using monthly economic indicators. This project involved end-to-end data collection, cleaning, statistical modeling, dashboard creation, and insight generation using SQL, Python, STATA, Advanced Excel, and Power BI. Designed interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize macroeconomic trends, monitor external-sector risks, and support data-driven policy analysis.
