Single-handedly worked on UI for prediction and visualization of weather and cyclones across the globe for Google Deepmind in Angular. Integrated weather and cyclone prediction models with google maps library to display various meteorological elements like precipitation, temperature, wind speed, air pressure, etc. Utilized AI coding assistants (Gemini Code Assist) to stream code generation and boilerplates, freeing bandwidth to focus on architectural design, UI performance, and mentor guidance to junior engineers. Collaborated closely with UX team to improve the user experience – designed user interfaces and translated user needs into user stories. Written multiple test cases with code coverage of 95% including screenshot tests. Guided 5 engineers with actionable feedback and targeted mentorship to drive continuous technical growth. Designing and building RESTful APIs in Node.js to fetch and manage large weather datasets via CRUD operations. Taking leverage of clustering in Node.js to scale the APIs to handle multiple requests at any given time.
