Implemented Redis cache-aside on the redirect path with graceful degradation to MySQL on cache failure; click counts written as a single atomic SQL UPDATE to eliminate lost updates under concurrent traffic. Containerized the stack with a multi-stage, non-root Dockerfile and Docker Compose running the application, MySQL, Redis, Prometheus and Grafana; automated builds via GitHub Actions with Dependabot tracking.
