Building LabResult Validata, an internal platform that validates instructor-submitted lab grades against configured reference data and commits clean results to a relational database for downstream analytics. Spearheaded the technical proposal to the Product Owner for the SharePoint ingestion pivot, covering current-state analysis, solution architecture, data-flow mapping, a risk register, effort estimates, and an open-questions decision log requiring sign-off before implementation. Architected a fail-fast, 4-gate validation pipeline that verifies a cohort's SharePoint source data (link access, folder structure, reference spreadsheets, and lab score sheets) before it is trusted downstream, replacing manual spot-checks with automated, auditable validation. Built resilient Excel ingestion with Apache POI that auto-detects header rows amid inconsistent formatting, cross-validates specializations, modules, labs, learners, and instructors by referential integrity, and aggregates all row-level errors per file instead of failing on the first. Optimized score-sheet validation with concurrent file downloads via Java 21 virtual threads, cutting wall-clock time for cohorts with many score files, and streamed real-time gate progress to clients via Server-Sent Events with reconnect and replay support. Built a transactional outbox for notifications so every message is persisted before sending, instructor emails are held for admin approval, and a failed send never blocks the rest of the batch. Secured endpoints with stateless JWT authentication backed by Redis refresh-token rotation and role-based access control, and modelled schema changes with Flyway migrations reviewed through mandatory PR gates.
