Engineered end-to-end features across 10+ enterprise financial applications (retirement plans, investment portfolios, loans, payroll, statements, reporting) using Java/Spring Boot services with Angular and Vue.js front ends, supporting thousands of daily active users. Built responsive Angular (17 to 21) and Vue.js interfaces with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS, and contributed 5–6 components to the team’s custom Angular component library. Designed and built REST APIs and business-service components connecting the front end to backend microservices, covering request/response mapping, DTO-based transformation, validation, and error handling. Integrated Spring Boot services with mainframe systems through a REST-based Business Service Layer, invoking mainframe subroutines and stored procedures and mapping their responses. Cut API response time from ~5 seconds to ~2 seconds (about 60%) by removing unnecessary database calls and redundant database interactions in data-intensive workflows. Reduced initial page-load time by 30% on data-heavy dashboards through Webpack chunk splitting and lazy loading, and cut redundant API calls with Pinia-based caching in Vue.js. Used GitHub Actions for automated build, validation, and delivery, and added SonarQube to the Spring Boot CI pipeline to clear unused beans, dead classes, and code smells. Monitored application performance and investigated production issues using application logs, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus. Wrote JUnit/Mockito and Karma/Jasmine tests and documented APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI. Performed code reviews, took part in design and architecture reviews, and mentored 3–4 developers across Spring Boot/API and Angular/UI development.
