Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches within the infrastructure network. Research new and evolving threats and vulnerabilities to safeguard the organization’s environment. Investigate malicious phishing emails, domains, and IP addresses using proprietary and open-source tools; recommend appropriate remediation actions and prepare detailed reports. Manage alerts triggered from associates’ devices through EDR, addressing unauthorized, unusual, or malicious executables or PUPs, and perform necessary remediation measures. Conduct root cause analysis of suspicious obfuscated executions by investigating host, event, and network timeline logs, and provide suitable solutions. Investigate domain impersonation and possible leaked credentials based on intelligence from the Threat Intelligence platform, Recorded Future. Oversee L1 analysts in shifts and monitor alert flow to ensure critical alerts are not missed. Collaborate with incident response teams to contain and resolve security incidents. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track security metrics and trends. Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate countermeasures.
