Developed APIs and DB state to manage the stocks catalog and support new service functionalities. Built a daily scheduled pipeline to fetch and update NPS NAV data from NSDL, starting from DB design and migrations to DAO, service layer, backend APIs, and frontend integration. Automated the flow via Jenkins, with trading day checks, NAV change computation, and alerting for missing data. Leveraged gRPC and Protocol Buffers for efficient, low-latency service communication. Developed a script to fetch required attributes from the database and ran a cron job. Automated ingestion of new DB sources into the Data Lake, enabling structured consumption in Snowflake.
