Built a Hexagonal architecture ISO 20022 gateway routing PACS.008/PACS.002 messages across 12+ FPS networks and 8 FX providers spanning 15 geographies; processed transactions with 99.95% message-translation accuracy and zero schema-validation failures in production. Engineered a Kafka-driven event backbone handling 5000+ transactions per second (tps) across 6 topics with consumer-group parallelism; enabled asynchronous settlement notifications that cut end-to-end transaction confirmation time from 15s → 5s.
