AWS YouTube Data Pipeline

Present - Present

Built an end-to-end data lake pipeline on Amazon S3 using a Bronze–Silver–Gold architecture to ingest, clean, and prepare multi-region YouTube trending-video data for analytics. Developed Python AWS Lambda functions to ingest data from the YouTube Data API and convert JSON category reference data to Parquet. Implemented AWS Glue PySpark ETL jobs for schema enforcement, null handling, deduplication, and derived engagement metrics; wrote region-partitioned Parquet to the Silver and Gold layers and cataloged tables in the Glue Data Catalog. Queried curated Gold tables (trending, channel, and category analytics) with Amazon Athena SQL Orchestrated the workflow with Step Functions, with Lambda-based data quality checks and SNS failure alerts.

Real-Time Stock Market Streaming Prototype

Present - Present

Configured Kafka and ZooKeeper on an AWS EC2 instance and created a Kafka topic for stock-market data streaming. Built and tested Python producer and consumer notebooks to publish and read stock-market records in JSON format. Prepared a streaming-data workflow intended for downstream storage and analytics; S3, Glue, and Athena should be listed as implemented only if those stages are completed.

Analyzed 7,000+ telecom customer records to identify factors contributing to customer churn. Performed data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality. Developed 25+ KPIs and interactive Power BI dashboards using DAX to analyze customer demographics, contract types, payment methods, and revenue trends. Identified key churn drivers, including Month-to-Month contracts and Fiber Optic customers, supporting customer retention strategies.
