Architected a private, verified networking platform connecting students and alumni for 1:1 mentorship, career guidance, and job/referral postings, built on a layered MySQL schema (Identity, Authentication, Application layers). Built the complete authentication module from scratch - signup, login, logout, forgot-password, and reset-password flows - with secure password hashing (bcryptjs), JWT-based session authentication, and Zod schema validation. Implemented role-based access control (RBAC) for Student/Alumni/Admin roles, brute-force protection via failed-login tracking and account lockout, and CSV-based bulk import for college enrollment data. Structured the backend using a modular Controller-Service-Repository architecture and integrated Cloudinary for image/media handling.
