Designed and developed enterprise-grade interactive dashboards and operational reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service supporting finance, payroll, and audit stakeholders. Built and optimized semantic models using Star and Snowflake schema patterns, including staging queries, dimension and fact tables to reduce query latency and improve dashboard load performance. Engineered DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPI indicators to enable leadership to monitor operational metrics with real-time accuracy. Optimized report performance through DAX tuning, query folding, incremental refresh configuration, and capacity analysis to improve refresh reliability and reporting speed. Integrated Power BI with SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, CSV, and REST APIs for consolidated governed reporting. Configured and managed on-premises data gateways, refresh credentials, and scheduled refreshes ensuring 99%+ data availability for critical reports. Administered Power BI Service workspaces, dataset permissions, and Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce data governance and access control. Leveraged Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, Warehouse, One Lake, and Dataflow Gen2 with deployment pipelines to establish scalable, governed reporting environments. Collaborated with cross-functional stakeholders across time zones to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions. Mentored junior Power BI developers and documented development processes, data model designs, DAX logic, and deployment procedures.
