Developed an AI-based face recognition and authentication system for secure access control across restricted database center locations. Used RetinaFace for face detection and FaceNet for embedding generation to identify and verify registered users. Built the authentication pipeline including image preprocessing, embedding extraction, cosine similarity matching, and threshold-based access decisions. Created a FastAPI-based web interface to authenticate authorized users, reject unknown individuals, and support multiple faces per image.
