AI Chatbot (ChatGPT Clone)

Present - Present

Built a full-stack conversational AI web app with a React frontend and a Node.js/Express backend, integrating the Google Gemini API for real-time responses. Implemented secure user authentication using JWT and bcrypt so each user can log in and access their own account. Designed chat history features in MongoDB with Mongoose that let users resume, edit, and delete previous conversations (full CRUD operations). Built a CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions with a self-hosted runner on AWS EC2 for automated build and deployment on every push. Deployed the application live on AWS EC2 using Nginx as a reverse proxy and PM2 for process management.
