VIP passenger / volunteer journey-coordination platform - Angular/Ionic frontend, Java Spring Boot backend. Integrated the Stripe payment gateway into the Travel Hands backend to process live transactions, handling secure request signing and error handling on the Spring Boot side. Root-caused a session bug where switching user roles in the same browser sent users to a not-found page - fixed a roleGuard flaw blocking navigation to another role's login screen and eliminated stale cross-tab state by adding explicit localStorage cleanup on role switch. Built a chat/messaging feature with push-notification deep-linking; replaced a fragile global-variable pending-chat pattern with a NotificationNavigationService built on a BehaviorSubject, and fixed a scroll-up pagination bug where an exactly-viewport-filling first page blocked further loads. Designed a two-stage OPS notification system in Spring Boot (assignment email, then separate journey-detail emails on status changes), with Thymeleaf HTML templates matching brand guidelines; resolved event-propagation issues with @TransactionalEventListener. Implemented Google Calendar sync via a backend-only service account - ICS attachments for Outlook/Apple Calendar and deep links for Gmail - and resolved a 403 error caused by missing Domain-Wide Delegation on attendee invites. Hardened the API layer: reviewed and corrected a Bucket4j-based rate limiter, a scanner-blocking filter, and a request-validation filter, fixing broken URL-pattern regex, jakarta/javax import mismatches, and unreliable IP detection behind a proxy. Added JWT expiry validation to the Angular auth guard, made the in-app quiz iframe URL backend-configurable via a REST endpoint with Angular DomSanitizer, and fixed a document-upload rendering bug caused by an incorrect Ionic lifecycle hook.
