Developed a real-time Driver Drowsiness Detection System using Python, OpenCV, Dlib, and CNN to classify driver states as Alert or Drowsy. Implemented facial landmark detection and Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) using Dlib and OpenCV to analyze eye closure and detect signs of fatigue from live webcam video. Applied image preprocessing and CNN-based classification using TensorFlow/Keras to identify open and closed eye states and continuously monitor driver alertness. Integrated an automated audio alert system using Pygame to notify the driver when prolonged eye closure indicates drowsiness. Achieved 95.2% accuracy, 94.1% precision, 93.8% recall, and 93.9% F1-score during experimental evaluation.
