I am a part of the Cyber SOC team in Mumbai. I am responsible for the task of monitoring and response to security incidents and breaches identified in the infrastructure network. Perform threat detection and analysis by continuously monitoring alerts, analyzing event logs, and correlating data to identify anomalies, IOCs, and potential threats; document findings and escalate based on severity. Research new and evolving threats and vulnerabilities with potential to impact the organization’s environment. Conduct analysis using tools to identify indicators of malicious activity on the network. Perform information security incident response and incident handling based on risk categorization and in accordance with established procedures. Manage alerts triggered from associate’s devices through EDR for unauthorized / unusual / malicious executables or PUP's and thereby mitigating the threat by network isolating the host and performing necessary remediation measures accordingly.
