Automated deployment of the Pulp repository service as a systemd-managed, rootless Podman Quadlet container within Omnia’s prepare oim.yml playbook, supporting both HTTP and HTTPS modes with templated TLS certs, volumes, and port configuration. Designed and developed automation modules for OIM preparation, image build, and node discovery validation within the Omnia automation framework, using Molecule and Testinfra to generate structured HTML test reports. Designed and implemented an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline using self-hosted GitLab CE for automated infrastructure testing of Dell Omnia deployments – configured the GitLab server, registered a shell-based CI/CD runner, and set up Postfix MTA for automated email notifications via Gmail SMTP relay. Built a multi-stage GitLab pipeline (.gitlab-ci.yml) with 10+ stages covering the full Omnia lifecycle, including automated scheduling with manual trigger support, stage dependency management, and a failure-resilient summary stage; automated delivery of timestamped HTML test reports via Python MIME email construction with base64 encoding. Led end-to-end testing of node discovery and diskless provisioning – PXE boot via iDRAC BMC, and node readiness across compute, login, and control-plane nodes for x86 64 and aarch64 architectures. Validated Slurm and Kubernetes scheduler deployments – slurmctld, munge services, Kubernetes control-plane health, HA failover, Slurm job submission, LDAP and PAM authentication. Performed regression testing after each code merge to ensure zero regressions, smoke testing on new builds for baseline stability, and sanity testing post-fix to confirm defect resolution without side effects. Managed full defect lifecycle – documented defects with reproduction steps, logs, and root cause analysis in Jira, tracked through resolution and verified fixes before release closure. Consistently delivered 3-4 Jira tickets per sprint ahead of deadlines; followed Agile methodologies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and story estimation.
