Monitor and analyze security alerts, email traffic, and security events to identify phishing attacks, spam campaigns, malicious content, suspicious senders, and potential security incidents. Perform security event and log analysis using KQL and SIEM concepts to investigate suspicious activities, recurring attack patterns, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). Investigate security alerts by analyzing email headers, URLs, domains, sender infrastructure, fingerprints, and other security telemetry to determine threat characteristics. Perform alert triage, threat analysis, and root cause investigation to assess security events and determine appropriate mitigation actions. Use KQL, Regex, TDNA, VirusTotal, and fingerprint-based analysis to identify emerging threats, investigate campaigns, and improve detection coverage. Develop detection clusters and detection rules based on recurring attack patterns to proactively identify and block phishing and spam campaigns. Analyze security events and recurring indicators to identify false positives, improve detection accuracy, and support continuous tuning of security monitoring processes. Document security investigations, alert findings, IOCs, root cause analysis, mitigation actions, and incident outcomes for operational tracking and reporting. Collaborate with cybersecurity and technical teams to support security monitoring, alert investigation, incident handling, remediation, and continuous improvement of detection processes. Support security operations by analyzing user-submitted cases and investigating suspicious, phishing, spam, and malicious email activity within defined operational timelines.
