Worked as a Quality Analyst and Automation Test Engineer in the BFSI domain (CIBC), performing Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and Database testing. Designed and developed reusable Robot Framework keywords, libraries, and modular automation components to improve framework scalability and maintainability. Developed UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python) following the Page Object Model (POM). Currently developing UI automation solutions using Playwright with TypeScript. Performed REST API testing using Postman by validating request/response payloads, authentication, and business logic. Executed SQL queries to validate backend data and verify business rules. Logged, tracked, and verified software defects using Jira while collaborating with developers and business analysts. Performed debugging, log analysis, root cause analysis, and regression test execution for sprint releases. Used Git, GitHub for version control, build management, and collaborative development. Participated in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
