Solved a complex, latency-critical problem by engineering a high-performance, scalable redesign of the contact synchronization pipeline using an in-memory Trie-based algorithm, reducing lookup latency from 22s to 4s (82% improvement) for Bluetooth-connected Family Hub and AI Home devices. Took ownership of small, well-defined feature tasks within CallUI – implementing animations aligned to OneUI framework (C#) motion guidelines – delivering independently with minimal supervision. Diagnosed and resolved 50+ production defects (UI rendering, crashes, memory issues, state management), refactoring affected components and applying testing techniques to improve stability before release. Collaborated across engineering, QA, and design teams to implement accessibility improvements and multilingual support for globally distributed consumer products. Led memory optimization during migration from 32-bit to 64-bit architecture, refactoring memory-sensitive components to improve scalability while reducing peak memory footprint. Used Git and GitHub within an established CI/CD workflow, managing feature branches, pull requests, and code reviews for collaborative software delivery.
