Collaborated with a cross-functional team on data analytics and machine learning projects for business and healthcare use cases, including an AI-Based Hospital Bed Availability Predictor. Analyzed 6 years (2018–2026) of hospital operations data (admissions, discharges, bed occupancy, ICU utilization, emergency cases) using SQL and Python to identify utilization trends and support capacity planning. Performed data cleaning, data preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA), uncovering patterns including approximately 93% average bed occupancy and 74% average ICU utilization. Built a Power BI dashboard with 5 KPIs (Bed Occupancy %, ICU Utilization %, Admissions, Discharges, Emergency Cases) and year-wise slicers to support data-driven decision making. Engineered time-series features (lag variables, 7-day rolling averages, calendar-based indicators) for predictive modeling using Python and Pandas. Built and evaluated a regression model in Scikit-learn to forecast next-day bed occupancy, including residual analysis and model performance evaluation. Analyzed procurement and expenditure data in a Spend Analysis project to identify cost-saving opportunities and generate actionable business insights.
