Junior Cyber Security Analyst - Remote (India)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team. This is a remote position ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about cybersecurity and eager to build a career in protecting digital systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security systems and respond to alerts and incidents. Assist in analyzing security breaches to identify root causes. Conduct vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing. Support the implementation of security tools, protocols, and procedures. Work closely with senior analysts to investigate and mitigate threats. Document incidents, resolutions, and best practices. Stay updated with the latest security trends and threat intelligence.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis. Good grasp of network protocols and operating systems (Windows/Linux). Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or Cisco CyberOps (preferred but not mandatory). Hands-on experience via internships, bootcamps, or personal cybersecurity projects.
