Bizoforce Hiring – Cloud Engineering Lead / Architect (Azure) – India (Bangalore / Pune / Chennai – Hybrid)

Bizoforce is looking for a Cloud Engineering Lead / Architect with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure-based cloud modernization and container orchestration solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure SQL, and serverless architectures, along with the ability to collaborate with developer teams to migrate and modernize applications.

Experience

Minimum 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Azure Architecture, or Containerization.

Required Skills

• Azure Cloud Services (AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Functions) – Mandatory
• Kubernetes & Container Orchestration – Hands-on experience required
• Database Migration (Oracle to Azure SQL / Hyperscale / Managed Instance)
• Troubleshooting expertise in AKS, control plane, node pools, networking, and storage
• Serverless computing integration with containerized workloads
• CI/CD pipelines for container deployments (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• Cost optimization & FinOps practices for cloud efficiency
• Excellent communication & cross-functional collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native database solutions (Azure SQL Hyperscale, Managed Instance) and migrate workloads from on-prem Oracle.
• Architect and optimize AKS clusters for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement Azure Functions and serverless architectures integrated with containerized workloads.
• Drive FinOps and cost optimization strategies, including autoscaling and spot instances.
• Troubleshoot AKS clusters, including control plane, node pools, and persistent storage.
• Collaborate with development teams to modernize workloads and transition from legacy orchestration systems to Kubernetes.
• Implement Kubernetes best practices (Helm charts, RBAC, HPA, Secrets, ConfigMaps, StatefulSets).
• Advise on the selection between Azure SQL Hyperscale and Managed Instance for optimal performance.
