Bizoforce Hiring – AWS Security Architect (Hybrid – Bangalore/Chennai/Gurgaon, India)

Bizoforce is hiring AWS Security Architects for a Fortune 500 client. The role focuses on designing and implementing secure AWS architectures, ensuring compliance with enterprise security frameworks, and driving secure-by-design initiatives across the SDLC. The ideal candidate will partner closely with DevOps, cloud, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architectures for AWS-hosted applications and services.
• Lead secure-by-design initiatives through threat modeling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews.
• Develop and review Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Define and promote secure coding standards and security-focused CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate and optimize security tools such as MAST, SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, and secret detection.
• Create reusable security design patterns and reference architectures for microservices, APIs, containers, and serverless workloads.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AWS security features.
• Support incident response and application-layer forensics.
• Guide remediation for vulnerabilities and design flaws.
• Act as SME for application security governance, audits, and compliance.
• Provide architectural governance ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and technical roadmaps.
• Drive innovative technology adoption, conduct POCs, and create reusable security frameworks.
• Participate in enterprise-wide architecture and engineering discussions.
• Communicate architectural strategy and updates to senior leadership.

Experience

• 7+ years in Application Security, Software Engineering, or Security Architecture.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud security design and implementation.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in AWS services (IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, VPC, CodePipeline, Terraform, etc.).
• Deep understanding of Compute, Storage, Networking, Data, and Security on AWS.
• Solid grasp of Secure SDLC and cloud-native application patterns (microservices, containers, CI/CD).
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS CWE Top 25, and threat modeling (STRIDE).
• Strong ability to communicate security risks and strategies to technical and business stakeholders.
• Preferred certifications: GDSA, GCAD, GWAT, GWEB, GPEN, GCPN, GXPN.
• Additional certifications (plus): SABSA, TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
