Bizoforce Hiring – Cloud Engineer – Certificates / DNS / GCP – Remote USA

Bizoforce is hiring a Cloud Engineer (Certificates & DNS) with strong experience in SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management, DNS configuration, and hands-on exposure to DigiCert or similar Certificate Authorities.
The engineer will be responsible for ensuring secure communication across cloud services and maintaining reliable domain name resolution within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. This role is critical for cloud security, operational reliability, and compliance readiness.

Experience

Minimum 3+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, Security Engineering, or Certificate/DNS Administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle: issuance, renewal, revocation, automation
• Configure and administer DNS zones and records (GCP Cloud DNS & third-party DNS)
• Automate certificate workflows using DigiCert APIs or equivalent platforms
• Enforce encryption standards and certificate hygiene in collaboration with security teams
• Troubleshoot SSL/TLS issues across web apps, APIs, and internal services
• Implement monitoring and alerting for certificate expiry and DNS health
• Maintain documentation for certificate processes, DNS configurations, and automation scripts
• Support audit and compliance activities relating to PKI and domain management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Security / IT
• 3+ years experience in cloud or security engineering
• Hands-on experience in SSL/TLS certificate management
• Strong knowledge of DNS administration, records, routing, TTL, DNS hygiene
• Familiarity with GCP Cloud DNS & IAM
• Experience with DigiCert or other CAs (Sectigo, Let’s Encrypt, etc.)
• Scripting expertise (Python / Bash) for automation
• Understanding of PKI, DNSSEC, domain validation, encryption principles
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud certifications (Security Engineer preferred)
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to enterprise DNS solutions and certificate automation frameworks
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
