Bizoforce is hiring Data Engineers with Databricks experience to support large-scale cloud data platform development in the Washington, DC metro area. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting production-grade data solutions using Databricks, Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark. The position includes remote training followed by on-site deployment in the Washington, DC metro area. Depending on experience, the role may involve advanced solution design, technical implementation leadership, performance optimization, and mentoring.

Experience

• 2–7 Years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Experience with production-grade cloud data platforms and data engineering implementations.
• Stronger implementation, architecture, and leadership experience expected for senior-level candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Databricks, Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines supporting batch and streaming workloads.
• Develop data models and support data warehousing and incremental processing.
• Work with CDC, data quality, governance, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to solution design and architectural decisions.
• Implement CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Support production data platforms and troubleshoot data engineering issues.
• Work with Git and modern software development practices.
• Support cloud data platform implementations and technical delivery.
• For senior-level responsibilities, lead technical implementation activities and mentor other engineers.
