Bizoforce is hiring a FHIR Analyst with a strong background in US healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 FHIR, CMS regulatory compliance (CMS-0057-F), and EMR integrations. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about improving healthcare data exchange, compliance, and connectivity between systems. The analyst will work with technical and business teams to analyze, design, and validate FHIR API solutions.

Experience:
3+ Years

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a data or systems analyst in the US healthcare industry
• Deep understanding of HL7 FHIR and associated interoperability standards
• Familiarity with CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization rules, especially CMS-0057-F
• Proficiency in FHIR API interactions and FHIR resources (e.g., Patient, Coverage, ServiceRequest)
• Experience working with FHIR Implementation Guides
• Hands-on with Postman or similar tools for API testing and validation
• Intermediate experience with SQL for data profiling and analysis
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy/security standards
• Exposure to other healthcare standards like HL7 v2, CCDA, USCDI, and clinical terminologies (SNOMED, LOINC, CPT)
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret healthcare data requirements and translate them into FHIR-based solutions
• Ensure compliance with CMS interoperability mandates, including CMS-0057-F
• Work closely with development teams to guide FHIR API implementations and mappings
• Conduct data validation, profiling, and quality checks using SQL and testing tools
• Act as a liaison between business users, compliance officers, and technical teams
• Contribute to the design and validation of EMR integrations and interoperability workflows
• Maintain awareness of evolving interoperability regulations and standards
