This role is best suited for professionals who can ensure system security, stability, and compliance through effective vulnerability remediation and hardening practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vulnerability remediation and patch management for Linux systems
  • Review Qualys findings and define remediation plans
  • Execute patch deployment using automation and manual methods
  • Implement Linux system hardening (SSH, authentication, permissions, logging)
  • Validate remediation through rescans and compliance checks
  • Troubleshoot patch-related issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Maintain documentation and compliance evidence
  • Track metrics for vulnerability management and SLA reporting
  • Ensure system stability and security in production environments
