Bizoforce Hiring: Network Consultant | Onsite – Wichita, KS (US Citizens Only)

Bizoforce is hiring a skilled Network Consultant to support a long-term onsite engagement in Wichita, Kansas. This position is open only to US Citizens due to ITAR compliance. The project offers a stable 3-year scope (performance-based) and requires hands-on expertise in Cisco Routing, Switching, and WLAN environments. Only genuine, technically vetted submissions will be accepted.

Role Details

• Project Duration: Up to 3 years (based on performance)
• Urgency: Immediate – closure within 2 weeks
• Open Positions: Multiple

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Cisco Core Routers, Distribution and Access Switches, and Wireless Controllers/APs.
• Ensure high uptime and performance for wired and wireless networks.
• Proactively monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and resolve connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Wi-Fi infrastructure and access points.
• Coordinate and execute network changes, upgrades, and patches with minimal downtime.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and network failover strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years in IT, with at least 3 years in Cisco Routing/Switching and WLAN.
• Solid experience with network monitoring, configuration, and issue resolution.
• Willing to relocate or commute to Wichita, KS (or Richardson, TX if required).
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation or equivalent ITSM certification.
• Familiarity with multi-site environments, change control, and network documentation.
• Experience with firmware updates, failover, and redundancy planning.
