Bizoforce is hiring Network Security Engineers (L2) with strong expertise in Checkpoint and Fortinet firewall technologies for enterprise security operations. The ideal candidate will provide advanced L2 support for firewall infrastructure, handling incident management, change implementation, and ensuring high availability and security compliance across enterprise environments. This role involves working in a 24×7 support model and requires strong troubleshooting, security, and networking fundamentals.

Experience

Level: Network Security Engineer – L2

Experience Required: 5–8 Years

Key Responsibilities

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

• Handle P2/P3 incidents and support P1 bridge calls
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting (packet flow, session analysis, logs)
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions

Change & Configuration Management

• Implement firewall changes (policies, NAT, VPNs, SD-WAN rules)
• Perform pre/post validation, rollback planning, and change execution
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and standard templates

Platform Operations

• Manage firewall health (CPU, memory, sessions, HA clusters)
• Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration management
• Monitor logs, alerts, and optimize performance

Security & Compliance

• Ensure policy compliance (SOX, ISO, PCI-DSS)
• Review firewall rules, optimize security posture
• Maintain audit documentation and close findings

Collaboration & Support

• Act as escalation point from L1 teams
• Collaborate with L3 and architecture teams
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain knowledge base

🔹 Checkpoint – L2 Responsibilities

• Manage Quantum Gateways, ClusterXL, SmartConsole
• Configure firewall policies, NAT, threat prevention
• Handle VPN (site-to-site, remote access, IKEv1/v2)
• Perform upgrades (Jumbo Hotfix, CPUSE)
• Troubleshoot using tools (tcpdump, fw monitor, cpview)

🔹 Fortinet – L2 Responsibilities

• Manage FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer
• Configure security policies, profiles, SSL inspection
• Handle VPN, SD-WAN, HA clustering
• Perform FortiOS upgrades and tuning
• Troubleshoot using diag debug, packet capture tools
