Bizoforce Hiring – Senior Database Administrator – Oracle, SQL, MySQL, GCP (Location: USA)

Bizoforce is seeking a Senior Database Administrator with broad experience across Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases, including architecture, tuning, backup/recovery, and automation. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and be passionate about performance optimization and database scalability in large-scale environments.

Ideally preferred if the resource is from Dallas but remote within US is fine. They should have valid work visa / GC / citizenship.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with GCP Cloud services and cloud-based database deployments
• Strong DBA expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL – architecture, upgrades, patching, and tuning
• In-depth knowledge of database internals and performance tuning in high-volume environments
• Advanced experience in Oracle RAC, ASM, and SQL Server Always On technologies
• Excellent skills in backup and recovery across all major RDBMS platforms
• Automation proficiency using Python, Shell, or other scripting tools
• Experience with tools like OEM, Toad, AWR, RMAN, and Data Guard
• Ability to collaborate with application teams for SQL tuning and query optimization
• Exposure to PostgreSQL, Vertica, NoSQL, or Hadoop is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work in large teams with varying experience levels
• Proactive, self-starter approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
