Bizoforce is looking for an experienced Senior Network Consultant to join a long-term, onsite engagement in Wichita, Kansas, supporting a secure and complex Cisco-based network infrastructure. This opportunity is open exclusively to US Citizens due to ITAR compliance requirements. The role is critical and must be filled within 2 weeks. We are seeking a technically strong, hands-on senior resource capable of leading network upgrades, optimizations, and performance tuning across a multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Cisco Core Routers, Distribution and Access Switches, and Wireless Controllers/APs.
• Design and implement network upgrades, redundancy, and failover mechanisms.
• Monitor and fine-tune network performance, latency, and reliability metrics.
• Oversee secure Wi-Fi infrastructure across multiple access points and zones.
• Manage change control, patching, and network health audits.
• Support disaster recovery planning, network restoration procedures, and business continuity testing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in network administration, with advanced expertise in Cisco Routing/Switching and WLAN.
• Deep understanding of enterprise network architecture, performance optimization, and high-availability setups.
• Proven leadership in multi-site network management and infrastructure rollouts.
• Willingness to relocate or commute to Wichita, KS (or Richardson, TX as required).

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
• Experience in handling mission-critical networks, security compliance, and large-scale wireless deployments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
