Cyber Security Analyst Remote (India)

We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to help protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will monitor security systems, analyze vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts, logs, and events to detect potential threats

Analyze vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and penetration testing support Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response activities Implement and maintain security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls) Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures Collaborate with IT and development teams to improve security posture Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, trends, and attack techniques Prepare security reports, documentation, and incident summaries

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field 2+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security roles Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and TCP/IP Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ELK, etc.) Understanding of malware analysis, phishing, and ransomware attacks Knowledge of Linux & Windows security concepts Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS) Basic understanding of cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP) Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Certifications (Good to Have)

CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications Experience with SOC operations and incident response Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
