Cyber Security Analyst (Remote – India)

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze network traffic, systems, and logs to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities. Respond to and investigate security incidents, minimizing impact and mitigating risks. Perform regular security assessments, including vulnerability scans and penetration testing. Configure and maintain security tools, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and IDS/IPS. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all processes. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security roles. Proficiency in tools such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software, and IDS/IPS. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP) and compliance standards. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH) are preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setup.
