Cyber Security Analyst (Remote - India)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's IT infrastructure, networks, and data from cyber threats and attacks. You will monitor systems, investigate incidents, and implement security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security access and incidents using SIEM tools and log management platforms. Analyze security breaches to identify the root cause and minimize risk. Respond to and manage security incidents, performing forensic investigations when required. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Maintain and update security systems including firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS. Support compliance efforts with security standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST. Develop and implement company-wide best practices for IT security. Prepare security reports and deliver recommendations to management. Train staff on cyber security awareness and protocols.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field. Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role. Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and intrusion detection systems. Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, or ArcSight. Experience with vulnerability scanners like Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS. Familiarity with threat modeling and risk assessment techniques. Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM (preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
