Cyber Security Analyst (Remote India)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization’s systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools. Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time. Perform vulnerability assessments and suggest mitigation strategies. Manage security tools like firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection. Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments. Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, trends, and technologies. Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation. Work closely with IT and development teams to improve security posture.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of information security concepts, protocols, and practices. Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS. Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques. Familiarity with cloud security practices (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field. Certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP (optional for freshers). Experience in incident response and threat analysis.
