Cyber Security Analyst (Remote - India)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our remote security operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats, ensuring the safety of our systems, data, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc.).

Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.

Develop and maintain incident response playbooks.

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations.

Research and stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.

Coordinate with IT teams to implement security controls and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.

Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

Experience with security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, or similar.

Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP (good to have, not mandatory).

Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
